abouT ME
My name is Matt Wright, I am a professional Videographer & Photographer based in the seaside town of Torquay located in the South West of England.
Since establishing my business 'Matt Wright Films' in 2020 I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing people and businesses so far.
I discovered a passion for Videography and Video Editing in 2014, I enjoyed creating short films/stories in my spare time, which lead to me studying Film & Television at South Devon College for 2 years in 2017. Once I completed my course in 2019 I was determined to setup my own business and to become self employed. From there I have built my business 'Matt Wright Films'.
From a young age, I’ve had a passion for cars and anything fast. I began creating automotive content by capturing my dad’s car to build my portfolio, which laid the foundation for my career. That early drive has since led me to work with top car manufacturers, producing cinematic content for brands such as Porsche, Lamborghini, Genesis and more!
Storytelling has been at the heart of what I do for as long as I can remember. That passion now drives my work in commercial filmmaking, where I collaborate with businesses to bring their stories to life through engaging, meaningful visuals. I have captured video & photography content for yacht brands, gyms, sports, schools, beverages and more!
Surrounded by property renovations throughout my childhood, I learned to see buildings as more than just structures, they’re stories. This foundation sparked my passion for property filmmaking, where architecture, design, and visual storytelling come together to showcase properties at their best. I am a professional property Videographer & Photographer working with Estate Agents across the UK.
